It is then said that the farmer and teacher both left a large life behind, and the preacher says "Can't you even see the Promised Land?" and gives a blood-stained bible to the hooker. The hooker turns out to be the singers preachers mother "That's the story that our preacher told last Sunday, as he held that blood-stained Bible up, for all of us to see.
